What Arc can do for you...
Arc is a boot helper for DSM 7.x, it sits in front of Synology DSM, detects your hardware and builds a loader that matches it. Arc and DSM stay independent. It just gets DSM running on your machine.
Pick your model and DSM version and Arc does the rest: it detects CPU, network interfaces, SATA/SAS/NVMe controllers and disks, generates the network and storage map, selects matching kernel modules and builds the loader. Work in the local monitor, ssh console or via the web UI on port 7080.
Everything stays adjustable afterwards: addons, modules, DSM version, SN/MAC, port mapping, boot and DSM options. Including backup, restore and recovery built in and online updates.
